Es zählt zu Metall ob du es willst oder nicht, gibt ja nicht nur eine Metall art. Rammstein zählen nunmal zur Neuen deutschen Härte/ Industrial Metall. Die Band ist live halt der hammer. Andere Bands singen und versuchen mit dir bisschen auf der Bühne zu reden. Ich kann auch mit meinem Nachbarn reden mich interessiert nur die reine Show und nicht dieses gequatsche auf der Bühne. Sowas langweilt.

Es geht doch nicht um die Pornographie dann verstehst du Rammstein nicht was sie mit ihren lieder sagen wollen.... Die meisten Lieder spiegeln die Wahrheit wieder klar Pussy ist schon sehr auf Pornographie ausgelegt. Aber in den anderen Liedern geht es ja nicht um das. Manche verstehen die wahrheit nicht die in der Welt passieren diese Themen besingen Rammsein halt. Versuche die Texte zu verstehen dann merkst das da mehr dahinter ist als frei erfundene Geschichten.

Falsch bin 21. Ich habe vieles gehört schon mal weil die in meinem Freundeskreis true-metal hören. Ich habe nie gesagt das die Texte von Kreator oder Kreator ansich schlecht sind. Das bitte nicht falsch verstehen. Find halt Rammstein besser. Schade das man immer wieder auf so was wie "das ist Pop-Rock" zurückgreift. Es sind nicht alle Lieder dem Rock oder Metall zuzuschreiben das weis ich aber im gesamten zählt es halt da dazu.

Nur so ich bin Erwachsen nur bekomm ich das kotzen wenn man immer auf dem selben zeug rumhackt und sag ach wie scheise doch das ist. Wenn jetzt alle auf Kreator rumhacken und du Liest immer wieder wie die Band niedergemacht wird obwohl die "gut" ist reichts dir auch irgendwann. Ich kann seeeehr lange darueber diskutieren, jetzt gebe ich nur ein Beispiel: Mille hat "Pleasure to kil"l geschrieben und gespielt - bis heute kann so schnell niemand spielen... Es war ein Rekord... Und ich liebe ihm dafuer, dass Er Soundtracks zum meinen Leben schreibt... Und dass Er mich so beeinflusst, dass ich deutsch und englisch gelernt habe, jetzt spiele ich auch Gitarre und naechtes Jahr komme ich nach Deutschland zu studieren. Mein ganzes Leben hat Mille allein veraendert! Er ist ein Genie...

Die Umfrage sollte "Die populärste deutsche Band" heissen. Rammstein ist niemals die beste Band aus Deutschland, sie ist ja im Moment die populärste, aber Popularität hat nichts mit "der beste sein" zu tun. Scorpions hinter Kreator und Aceppt, niemals!! Scorpions gehört zu einer anderen Kategorie. Wenn man die Bands rein musikalisch betrachtet, befreit von jeglicher Art von Vorurteil und Fanatismus, kommt man unweigerlich zum Schluss, dass Gamma Ray die talentierste metal Band aus Deutschland ist. Mir fällt gerade eine andere deutsche Band ein, die sicherlich in der höheren Liga mitspielen sollte, wenn sie nicht so sehr unterschätzt würde. Silent Force heisst sie. Der Sänger, D.C Cooper, ist zwar Amerikaner, aber der Rest der Band kommt aus Deutschland. Von daher sollte sie auch auf der Liste stehen. Also ich hab mir diesen kinderquark mal bissel durchgelesen hier...Ich hör sowohl Rammstein als auch Kreator (als auch Helloween,...) Rammstein is zwar meine absolute Lieblingsband aber es stimmt schon, dass sie musikalisch ein Witz sind im Vergleich zu anderen Bands...Lyrisch wär das wieder was anderes aber im Groß und Ganzen: Never the best. Und bevor ich hier sone unsachliche Diskussion führen würde, würde ich einfach den Rand halten :)

Rammstein?! Leute...hier gehts nicht um die populärste Band sondern um die beste! Dazu ist Rammstein für mich alles andere aber KEIN METAL! Jeder kann natürlich seine eigene Schublade aufmachen, aber das diese Band noch am wenigsten Metal von allen ist, sollte jedem klar sein! Ich finde es schade das selbst in einer Metalcommunity anscheind die Popularität am meisten zählt....warscheinlich wäre Lady Gaga (wenn sie im Voting wäre) auch auf Platz 1! -.- Sorry, aber dieser Anblick enttäuscht irgendwie....

Leute, ihr seid total hängengeblieben. Ihr seid VIEL zu 'true'. Nur weil MetalHammer schreibt 'Best German Metal', muss es nicht gleich heißen, dass Rammstein Metal macht. Sie werden der NDH zugeordnet, NICHT hauptsächlich dem Metal. So gesehen ist Subway To Sally, Scorpions oder Heaven Shall Burn (Metalcore, wtf oO?) auch nur 'Pussymetal', also pisst euch nicht gegenseitig an. Why not more choises?

What about "Iron Savior", "Stormwarrior" and "Majesty/MetalForce"? They are great german power metal bands. For me the best metal band on the list is Helloween with Gamma Ray on a close second. I also like Scorpions, although I havn't listened much to them since the 80s apart from their "World Wide Live" from 1985 witch is a killer album and one of the best ever.

The Scorpions still Rock after all these years!!

I don't understand it! The Scorpions should be winning easily! They have been around since the late 60's. I am in America and this is the one band that still stands as a great rock/metal band. If they can be so popular all over the world, how come they are not the most voted band out of the bunch in their home country? Granted, I have not heard of Rammsten, but I must check them out...seems they are the favorite of everyone! Still, I will always love the Scorpions!!

So, I checked out Rammstein............

I have to say, they sound pretty damn good! I wish I understood what they were saying though. lol I gotta hand it to everyone in Europe, overall I think you have better music tastes than here in America. There is SOOO much of this rap crap here I can't stand it! Thankfully the Scorpions toured here, (and it was really a great show)!!! There are really no good new rock/metal bands here in the US. Metal seems to be dead here at the moment. I find I listen to a lot from other countries and love it. I am glad all the bands from the 70s and 80s are touring so I can see them again. Rock/metal is starting to come back. Oh, and I also listened to EdGuy and liked them as well. I guess I am biased though, I have been listening to the Scorpions for the past 30 years, since I was 8! :)

Hallo von Mexiko =) Was ich hier lustiges finde ist dass sie Leute nur über Kreator vs. Rammstein noch kämpfen und niemand hat etwas über Helloween am 2. Platz gesagt gehaben XD. Ich liebe Death Metal, Trash Metal und sehr schwere Musik aber ich liebe Rammstein weil sie haben viele Leidenschaft in seinem Arbeit gegeben, von Albums, Videos und Live Shows. Ich liebe Scorpions, Kreator, Edguy und Rhapsody of Fire sehr viel und die lätzte ist in die Liste nicht auch XD. Ich hoffe dass Rammstein gewinnt weil sie haben mehr Zeit und Arbeit auf seine Musik Ton, Videos Produktion, Live Shows und seine ganze Bild als alle andere Deutsche Bands investiert. Viele Leute könnte dass Rammstein kein Metal Band ist denken weil sie einen Keyboardist haben und nicht schwierige Gitarre solos spielen aber sie mussen sich erinnern dass es gibt viele Metal genres un subgenres und dass die Herrn in Rammstein haben ein volles neues subgenre erfunden, auch mussen sie wissen dass Rammstein hat viele Leute hier aus Latinamerika und USA (wie ich) um zu Deutsch und Musik lernen angeregt und das ist etwas dass keine andere Band bekkommen gehabt. Schließlich eine Dinge niemand könnte wiedersprechen ist dass Rammstein mitsamt Kraftwerk und Scorpions sind die einige Deutsche Bands dass könnte in die Zukunfts Historiebücher werden.

Gosto muito de Scorpions e curti bastante na minha juventude. I am from England where heavy Metal originated! and I have large collection of Rock & Metal albums. I have been a huge fan of German Metal ever since I heard the Scorpions, Helloween in the early 1980's and then Gamma Ray in 1990. As Scorpions are really heavy rock, I can only say that Helloween are the best German Metal Band, closely followed by Gamma Ray. None of the others come close. These polls are always ruined by idiots who follow the crowd like sheep and go for the overrated bands that the media tell them to like. I checked out several Rammstein tracks and although listenable, they are poor compared to Helloween & Gamma Ray.

Beste Live-Band, erfolgreichste deutsche I-Metal-Band, die besten Texte, beste Hymnen, geile Videos usw. Accept, Halloween, Kreator waren mal gut, weil allein im Feld. Aber hohle Monster+Blut+Tod-Texte ermüden nur und dann die Leder-Nieten-Langhaar-BlackTshirtmitAufdruck-Uniform sind sooooo platt. Am schlimmsten aber sind die Altmänner-Soli derer, die lieber mal mit ihren Frauen fummeln sollten...
