Als ich dass gesehen hab war ich echt enttäuscht Riffgott ist Adam wer? Metalcore ist nicht gerde innnovativ aus Gitarristen Sicht ich denke Alex hat diesen Award verdient weil sein Sound einfach unter 1000en zu erkennen ist selbst wenn man CoB nicht mag muss man sagen dass er ein Riffgott ist wer das nicht glaubt sollte sich mal Silent Night Bodom Night anhören.

warum stimmen denn so wenig leute für herrn amott? würdet ihr euch mal aufmerksam vor allem das ältere arch enemy - material anhören, dann werdet ihr sicher feststellen, dass es eigentlich keinen besseren gitarristen gibt, der den spagat zwischen rock/heavy metal und death metal besser hinbekommt. klar, dass es auch eine geschmacksfrage ist, und dass auch jeff waters oder adam d. gute riffs/songs schreiben. allerdings reicht das alles in sachen authentizität nie an die klasse eines michael amott heran. mal abgesehen davon, dass er zusammen mit seinem bruder christopher das wohl großartigste gitarren-duo im (melodic) death metal bildet...

The fact is that Adam Dutkiewicz is no metal riffs god, the true master of metal riffs composition is Jeff Waters, he's been arround for like 23 years and has done a whole lot of masterpiece songs, his music is never boring or repetitive and his riffs are simply amazing and creative, Jeff should win...

Jeff is an awesome guitarist but i think Adam D is better. Listen to times of grace as well as killswitch engage, times of grace is more unique for example willing, where the spirit leads me and until the end of days! My curse is probably the best killswitch riff!! Or maybe daylight dies... THEY"RE ALL GOOD!!

Dave Mustaine! I think he has writen some of the best riffs in metal history, as well as James Hetfield. A lot of the players in the list deserve to win, but Mustaine is my favorite.

All of these guys deserve a spot in this competition. But its really not fair to have James Hetfield in this, he is obviously the riff master of the last 30 years, without him, we'd all be playing slower and quieter and less intense music. But Adam D is a kick-ass musician all around and deserves some praise.
