Oomph!/All Ends – Tour-Tagebuch Teil 12

30.12.2008 Stuttgart LKA Longhorn

Die Schwaben sind zum Glück mit ihrem Applaus nicht so sparsam wie in allen anderen Bereichen ihres Lebens ;-). Wir hatten bislang immer tolle Gigs in Stuttgart und auch heute Abend tobt der Mob im Schwabenländle. Mittlerweile sind etwa 2/3 der Supportbands verschnupft und ich hoffe inständig, dass mich der Tourtuberkel verschont. Mir fällt auf, dass meine Tauchexkursionen von der Bühne aus ins Haifischbecken der Fans immer ausgedehnter werden und ich von Glück reden kann, dass ich immer noch rechtzeitig zu meinem Gesangseinsatz wieder zurück am Mikro bin.

Fazit: Des LKA isch immer wieder der Hammer! Mir komme wieder.

P.S. Unser Mercher hat die Disziplin der Schwaben beim T-Shirtkauf gelobt. Alle standen brav in der Schlange und keiner hat sich vorgedrängelt: vorbildlich! Tja, so sind sie halt, die Baden-Württemberger… Wie sagen sie selbst so schön in ihrem Werbespot: “Mir könne alles – außer Hochdeutsch!

01.12.2008 Erlangen E-Werk

Alles was ich bisher von Erlangen kannte, war der Schlager aus den 80ern „Wissenwertes über Erlangen“. Pünktlich zum ersten Dezember schneit es als würde Falco im Himmel mit seinen Koksresten rumschludern. Das E-Werk ist ein toller Club und Front-of-house-mixer Guido schwärmt vom Sound, den er in der Halle zaubern kann. In Städten, in denen wir zuvor noch nie aufgetreten sind, erwarte ich erst einmal nichts – trotzdem wurd’s ein genialer Gig und das Publikum war in extremer Partylaune. Ein bisschen Ballermann in Erlangen – Mal was anderes!

Dec 3rd, Munich!!!!

Ok… I don’t really know how to express myself here… but… THIS WAS THE BEST FUCKING GIG!!!!!!!!!

I really have to let this evening “sink in”, as we say in Sweden, and write this blog tomorrow I think. Munich – We love you! Thank you!

Dec 3rd – 2nd blog

So, now I think I can sum up yesterday for you guys. We arrived at the venue kinda early and just hung out with the rest of the guys all afternoon. Then we had a couple of interviews and a meet & greet with our proud winner of the Apologize-competition.– Congrats again! And thanks for your support!

Then it was time for Mina and Alex to do their last gig of the tour, kind of sad actually ´cause we really like both of them a lot and we’ve had such a great time the last 4 weeks. Anyway, since it was their last show we had planned to surprise the Oomph-guys sometime during the evening. And a couple of days ago we asked Basty, their tour manager, if he could help us out a little. Of course, he wondered what it was all about, but we just said – just give 5 more minutes on stage and arrange that the whole band is there when we do the last but one song. He got a little nervous, but agreed to do it. :)

The plan was that Mina and Alex should join us on stage just before the last song and we’d play „Träumst Du“ ( Oomph!) but a version in English, and that’s what we did. All the Oomph-guys stood next to the stage and you should have seen their looooong faces! So much fun! It was a great surprise! Haha!

BUT before we did this, Joey had a little surprise of his own… Just before the key change in wasting life, something happened on stage. It somehow sounded really different from Joey´s part of the stage. The rest of us turned around to see what happened and we found out that MINA was now playing the drums and Joey jumped into the audience! Haha! But she did a great job behind the drums, I can tell you that!

Now to the people of Munich: Thank you guys for making a special night even more special for us. We will never forget the support you gave All Ends, singing along, having your hands in the air etc… So cool! Really, we had the best time! Hope you had yours too :)

Sitting in the bus on our way to Zurich now, and I think they’ll have the hardest time topping you guys, we’ll see. So this was the last night for us in Germany and it was a perfect way of saying – So long! See ya in January!

Zurich – here we come! Watch out! ; )
